The Speaker
Jose Ventura is a distinguished individual who has led a remarkable life. He attended Texas A&M University and had the joy of meeting his wife during their time in the ninth grade at John F. Kennedy High School. Together, they have been blessed with seven grandsons and two granddaughters, bringing immense joy to their family.
Jose dedicated 28 years of his life in service to his country, serving in various important roles in the military. His exceptional career included the following notable positions:
From June 1979 to the present day, Jose served at Ft Gulick in the Republic of Panama, demonstrating his commitment to duty and his willingness to serve his country throughout the years.
From June 1983 to June 1985, he served as a Logistics and Intelligence Officer at the 2nd Battalion, 75th Rangers stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington. In this capacity, he provided invaluable logistical support and intelligence expertise to the battalion.
From June 1988 to July 1990, Jose served as the Executive Officer at the 1st BN (ABN), 509th INF, showcasing his leadership skills and dedication to airborne infantry operations.
From May 31, 1993, to June 30, 1995, he held the position of Commander of the Philadelphia Recruiting Battalion at the U.S. Army. During his tenure, he oversaw recruitment efforts in the region, contributing to the enlistment and training of new personnel.
From May 31, 1995, to June 30, 1998, Jose served as the Chief of Staff for the 5th Recruiting Brigade at the U.S. Army. In this critical role, he managed and coordinated the activities of the brigade, ensuring their effectiveness and success.
Lastly, from May 31, 1998, to June 30, 2002, he served as the Deputy Inspectors General for the 5th US Army at the U.S. Army. In this capacity, he played a vital role in maintaining compliance and upholding the highest standards of integrity within the organization.
Jose Ventura's lifelong dedication to serving his country, his strong family ties, and his remarkable achievements in the military reflect his unwavering commitment, leadership, and honor.
