About the Speakers
Tim manages the financial affairs of families and businesses throughout Texas and select states. He understands the relationship between hard work and success. He appreciates his clients have worked hard to succeed in their fields and believes they deserve a financial advisor who will bring that same work ethic to managing their wealth. He focuses on building strong relationships and implements a comprehensive planning process to manage clients’ wealth by evaluating their whole financial picture and tailoring individualized wealth strategies for their goals. Tim offers an experienced perspective and strives to maintain a long-term relationship with his clients by staying committed to putting clients first, researching investment opportunities, and following changes to wealth management strategies.

Tim is a fifth-generation Texan and grew up in Nacogdoches, the oldest town in Texas. Upon graduation from Texas A&M Tim joined Raymond James as a financial advisor in January 2009, during the height of the Great Recession. He has earned the Wealth Management Specialist designation and is a member, of the Raymond James Leaders Club. Tim has been recognized by the San Antonio Business Journal for the 2024 40 Under 40 Award. This award recognizes young professionals as leaders in their industry who actively give back to their community. Tim was named to the 2024 edition of the AdvisorHub’s list of 250 Advisors to Watch (Under $1 Billion).

Mitchell is both personal and professional in his role as a Financial Advisor at S. Harris Financial. He has a driven and detailed nature about his work that allows him to develop comprehensive financial plans for families, business owners, professionals and executives alike. His compliance background and practical experiences aid him to advise clients in addressing their most simple and complex financial challenges.
As a Financial Advisor for the S. Harris Financial Group, Mitchell executes critical functions in preparing and delivering financial plans and investment reviews, as well as performing management duties for the company’s wealth management system. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional. He also holds Series 7 and 66 Securities Licenses, and Insurance License.
Mitchell graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Financial Planning. During his undergraduate career, Mitchell received accolades, including the Outstanding Senior Award and the Founder’s Financial Planning Scholarship, and served as the President of the Financial Planning Association. In addition, Mitchell worked full-time in a bank compliance office while attending school, which prepared him for the compliance focus and attention to detail required at S. Harris Financial Group.
At his core, Mitchell desires to help people. The opportunity of helping people define financial freedom is something that drives him. In an indirect way, he knows his work contributes to healthy families, financial understanding, and setting up individuals and families for success. Seeing his clients work towards meeting their goals excites him and that is something that drives him daily.
