About the Speaker

Thomas Corser ’83 spent his career in the corporate world starting with AT&T Bell Labs developing fiber optics packages for terrestrial, long haul, telecom/data applications. He moved on within AT&T to new acquisitions and partnerships with wireless providers. He then moved to Avaya and then later finished his corporate career at Juniper Networks as head of marketing and sales.

Tom was in the Class of ’83 at Texas A&M and graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree. He later earned a Masters of Manufacturing Systems Engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison. Tom and his wife Tina moved to San Antonio from New Jersey in 2017, where they lived for 20 years and raised their two boys who still live on the east coast.

Tom is now heading up the development and marketing of Arboretum San Antonio on the site for the Former Republic Golf Course.
