A big thank you to the San Antonio A&M Club, the East Foundation and Wildlife Systems for a truly exceptional opportunity afforded to me as a participant in the 2023 Nilgai Hunt Raffle to benefit Aggie scholarships.
The meals, lodging, guides and the hunt on El Sauz was top notch! Harvesting a trophy bull nilgai was icing on the cake. The 200 pounds of delicious meat will be enjoyed by my family (yes it’s even better than axis!) and the shoulder mount of the bull on our wall will serve as fond reminder of the successful hunt.
I look forward to purchasing raffle tickets in years to come and encourage our San Antonio Aggies, friends and family to support this unique program for our students.
