About the Speaker
Lindsay Holliday grew up in San Antonio and is a proud graduate of O’Connor High School, where her involvement as an officer in the FFA chapter sparked her first connection to agriculture. She went on to attend Texas A&M University, earning a degree in Communication with a minor in Business. After a brief start at a PR agency in Dallas, Lindsay returned home to be closer to family and began her career in the wedding and events industry. She started as a special events manager producing bridal shows across San Antonio and Austin before transitioning into advertising sales for a bridal magazine, where she spent five years refining a consultative sales approach. During that time, she also served on the board of the San Antonio chapter of the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE). Lindsay later moved into venue management, where she served as Senior Venue Director for a growing company that expanded to include multiple wedding venues and on-site lodging. After welcoming her second child, she sought greater flexibility and accepted her current position as Director of Sales at Tejas Rodeo Company in Bulverde, Texas. In this role, she oversees sales and operations for the company’s Saturday night rodeo series, Tejas Steakhouse & Saloon, private events on the rodeo grounds, and Western Sky, the wedding and event venue located on the back of their 71-acre property. Lindsay is passionate about sharing her love for Texas, agriculture, and Western heritage. Her journey from FFA to Texas A&M and now to the rodeo arena has come full circle, allowing her to combine her professional strengths with her deep-rooted appreciation for the traditions that define the Lone Star State.
