About the Speaker

Amy Allen joined Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation in early 2024 as Philanthropy and Stewardship Officer. She leads the Planned Giving Program, works closely with donors, and jumps in wherever needed to help keep Texas wild. Before joining TPWF, Amy spent over three decades with the Austin Community Foundation, helping it grow from a handful of donors into one of the largest community foundations in Texas. Earlier in her career, she held roles in hospitality and real estate marketing, helped open the Hyatt Regency in Beaver Creek, Colorado, and served as an Accounting Assistant at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center. She’s also taught gymnastics and cheerleading and even worked as a deckhand on a deep-sea fishing boat. A native Austinite, Texas Tech graduate, and proud Texan, Amy loves spending time with her husband of 32 years, Trevor; their two daughters, Langley (27) and Katie (26); a crew of “grand animals”; and her extended family and friends. If you can’t find Amy out and about in Austin, you’ll most likely find her in the Hill Country, along the Texas coast, or exploring a state park—enjoying the wildlife, fishing, sitting by a campfire, or simply soaking in the outdoors.
