About the Speaker

Provost Texas State Technical College New Braunfels

Mike Anderson serves as Provost and Executive in Charge of the TSTC campus for Comal and Guadalupe counties. Mike has been with TSTC since the inception of the campus in the Fall of 2023. Currently, TSTC offers four programs: Industrial Maintenance, Building Construction, Welding, and the FAME/Advanced Manufacturing program. The campus has been at or exceeded capacity for the last three years!

Mike is a native Texan, growing up in Schertz, TX. He began in higher education as a collegiate track and field coach. He has coached over 100 All-Americans and National Qualifiers during his career.

Mike then moved into an Athletic Director role and advanced to the Vice President of Enrollment Management. Most recently, he served at Multnomah University in Portland, OR, where he was Sr. Vice President, COO/CFO, before coming back to TX to work with TSTC!
